Meet the AFV® staff

Vin Di Bona - Executive Producer/Creator - With a burst of inspiration and a country crazy over camcorders, Vin created the first reality television mega-hit with America's Funniest Home Videos. In 1989, Vin Di Bona was inspired by a popular Japanese television show called Fun TV with Kato-chan and Ken-chan which had a segment devoted to home videos. Since then, Vin's inspiration has become a national phenomenon.

Tom Bergeron - Host - Tom first joined AFV in its 11th season in 2000. This year, Tom will be returning to the AFV stage for another exciting season, introducing the clips, jesting with the audience and interviewing the winners with his familiar, casual charm.

Steve Paskay - Steve was present with Vin Di Bona at AFV's inception. As the former Co-Executive producer, he helped nurture the show's design elements and conceptual development and ran the production for six seasons until moving to Italy to marry the woman he loved. The two now live happily in the U.S. where Steve continues his career in television. To this day, his name can be found in the credits of many other Vin Di Bona productions. Steve also has an uncanny ability to find underground water using only a coat hanger.

Todd Thicke - Todd has been with the show since its beginning. He is currently the head writer and co-executive producer. His writing team includes J. Elvis Weinstein, Trace Beaulieu and Mike Palleschi.

Joe Bellon and Greg Bellon - Coordinating Producers - together Greg and Joe Bellon (Bellon Entertainment) brought America's Funniest Home Videos to the U.S. from Tokyo Broadcasting System.
