Off the Wall
Disney Channel
1998

Originally produced for the Disney Channel by Cara Di Bona and designed especially for kids, Off the Wall challenged contestants with wacky, unusual, and sometimes messy stunts. What set this game show apart from the others was a novel approach that involved "on the street contestants."

When a teenaged-contestant was presented with a challenge - such as, "How many pancakes can you stack on your head?" or "How many clothespins can you attach to yourself?" - the contestant would choose an opponent from the studio audience, or from outside the studio, a "street contestant." The video taped view of the street contestants performing crazy stunts on a public thoroughfare gave an additional dimension to the game show.

Off The Wall was hosted by the outrageous Larry Zeno.
