Cara Di Bona
Vice President, Creative Affairs
In working closely with all the departments of Vin Di Bona Productions, Cara oversees day-to-day operations at the company. She has also spent a great deal of time developing many scripted and non- scripted programs for the cable networks. Before turning to Development, Cara spent many years working in all facets of production at Vin Di Bona Productions. During this time she also gained admittance into the DGA for stage managing and associate director work. Cara co-produced and stage-managed 6 episodes of World's Funniest Videos for the ABC network. She also worked as a segment producer, stage manager and 2nd AD on America's Funniest Home Videos for three seasons. Prior to America's Funniest Home Videos, Cara stage managed 65 episodes of Maximum Drive, an off road vehicle stunt show for the Family Channel.
Cara joined Vin Di Bona Productions in 1994 after receiving her B.S. in Communications from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. While attending Emerson College, Cara received a New England Chapter Emmy for a documentary she produced. Prior to graduating she spent her summers as a Production Assistant on America's Funniest People, Conquer Fort Boyard (a stunt game show located in the middle of the ocean off the coast of France), Animal Crack-Ups and Candid Camera for King World Productions.
